The Gala week scarecrow competition is now in it's fifth year and we are hoping to top 100 scarecrows. The effigies (some of them pretty bizarre) are out all week from the 25th August to 30th August. If you are travelling to see them, why not combine it with a visit to the gala on Saturday 30th at 2pm when you can be sure that, by then ALL the scarecrows will be out in all their glory.
